A closure sits at the parting and covers the crown, so the rest of the wig is made from your bundles. The smaller the lace, the less blending is needed.

How long will a Hair Jétique unit last?
With normal wear and proper care, one to two years. It comes down to two things: how often you wear it, and how you look after it. Frequent heat, humidity and strong sun age any unit faster — wash gently, store it on a stand, and it will keep its shape far longer.
Can I dye or bleach it?
Yes. This is 100% human hair, so it takes colour like your own. We recommend a professional colourist — bleaching at home is where most units get damaged. Darker shades are always safer than lifting to blonde.
Can I use heat and curl it?
Yes. Use a heat protectant first and keep your tools around 110–130°C (230–266°F). Higher than that shortens the life of the hair.
What is the difference between HD lace and transparent lace?
HD lace is thinner and finer, so it melts into the scalp and is the most undetectable. Transparent and super transparent lace are slightly thicker — a little more durable and more forgiving to install, and still very natural on most skin tones. Swiss and French lace are the sturdiest, best if you are new to installing.
Which density should I choose?
180% is a natural, everyday fullness and the most popular choice. 250% is noticeably fuller and photographs beautifully. 300% and 400% are dramatic — best for long lengths and special occasions. If you are unsure, message us on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.
Does it come pre-plucked, and do I need to pluck it myself?
Every unit arrives pre-plucked with a natural hairline, natural baby hairs and bleached knots — ready to wear out of the box. You can pluck a little more if you prefer a lighter hairline, but it is not necessary.
How do I wash it?
Comb it through with a wide-tooth comb first. Work shampoo into cool running water, immerse the hair and wash gently without scrubbing. Rinse until clear, apply conditioner, leave it three minutes and rinse again. Press out the water with a towel — never wring it — and let it air dry flat or on a stand, out of direct sun.
How long does delivery take, and how do I pay?
Orders ship within 24–48 hours. In Accra we deliver same or next day by rider; elsewhere in Ghana we send to your nearest bus terminal, or by courier to your door. Pay by card or mobile money through Paystack at checkout.
